Vision

To become a beacon of hope for widows in Nigeria, Africa, and the rest of the world

Our Story

Widowed at 39 in 2002, and confined to a hospital bed for several months, Sally Audu struggled through her early years of widowhood fighting to regain her health and seeing her three children through school.

Blamed for her husband’s death and ostracized by the in-laws in a bid to take hold of her late husband’s possessions, Sally found solace in church and community.

Over the years, she has used her experience to bring relief and offer mentorship support to younger widows.

Sally established Hands of God Widows Support initiative in 2022 to amplify the demand for the recognition of the rights of widows
